Digital Specialist - Manchester, Philadelphia

A bit about the role 

We have a fantastic opportunity to broaden our agency offering to our existing portfolio of clients. You will be joining a global team, who already produce VR, AR, apps, websites and a wide range of e-learning for sectors including healthcare, media and entertainment, consumer goods and tech. Our projects have won awards and we want you to be part of that success. 

Our team already includes expert developers, designers, creatives and Project Managers who are passionate about exploring new technologies and engaging audiences in the most impactful way. We have two roles available, one based in our Manchester office and one based in Philadelphia!

What you will be doing?

You will help shape solutions by responding to briefs and propose new ideas based on research of the industry.

You will be a go-to person for client services and will be brought into meetings with clients to advise and support.  Where an opportunity requires a deep-dive discovery, you will support this phase and will be expected to facilitate client workshops to draw out the ‘challenge’. 

Following a successful proposal, you will support the transition of the opportunity from client services to the delivery team, working closely with the Project Manager during the initiation stage, to build a successful relationship with the client.  You will have a thorough understanding of the solution and you will be responsible for articulating this to the delivery team.

Part of the role is to advise on the latest digital developments and how they can be transferred to our clients. This will involve extensive research and a deep understanding of our clients. 

You will be part of a team of digital specialists and therefore will be expected to devise a strategy to deliver consistent digital expertise across all TCEG offices in the UK and US.

This is just the first stage of expanding our global capabilities, particularly in the US and you will be right at the forefront of these exciting changes.

Production Manager - USA - Philadelphia

A bit about the role 

Responsible for overseeing the entire production process.

This involves running, scheduling and delivering projects as per the agreed delivery schedule and requirements. This will include accurate monitoring and profit reporting of expenditure on a regular basis to ensure all projects remain within budget, supporting the production team so they work efficiently, and ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to with all relevant risk assessments carried out.

To aid day-to-day production, scheduling the production team and managing the budgets accurately. 

The Production Manager will work with the Head of Production to assign work to the team and will bring in additional resources (from either The Moment team or freelance pool) when required.

What you will be doing

  • Resourcing projects: Maintaining the production schedule – ensuring dedicated team are best utilised and booking additional resource as required (either The Moment staff or freelance) of whom one must have a great understanding of each individual’s skills and capabilities, keeping updated as to who is best placed to allocate to the relevant project

Client Budgeting:

  • Ensuring we remain competitive & consistent for new tenders & client specific rate cards for both long and short form.
  • Using in-house systems to budget, monitor costs and report profitability.
  • Management of working budgets increasing profitability with all external purchases.
  • Cost Monitoring (income/forecasts/actuals/purchase orders/ invoices/credit cards/staff recovery).
  • Keeping all Profit Reports up to date and updating external spend on a daily basis.
  • Cost reporting with accounts to achieve better understanding of which projects work better financially to increase profitability.
  • Adjusting GP.

Other duties include

  • Bookings – Crew, equipment, travel and accommodation.
  • Implement any process or service improvements that are necessary to ensure delivery to client requirements and meet contractual obligations
  • Implementing a system of resourcing projects making sure each project has an SRO, Risk Assessment, budget and relevant level of staffing.
  • Freelance database – keeping it up to date (producers/directors/camera operators/editors/ all creative crew).
  • Improving overall margins by cost cutting, negotiating rates with crew, edits, post-production, hotels, travel & all aspects of production.
  • Support – Production support where required, for example, attending large film shoots.
  • Preparation of production schedules - to ensure sufficient time has been allocated for filming, post and staffing.
  • Location filming – resourcing all the necessary logistics, release forms, Health & Safety risk assessments, insurance, carnets, visas, accommodation and transport.
  • Post–production - making sure edits are booked as per working budgets. Supporting the Producers to ensure media is booked in to be digitised prior to editing, helping the Senior Producers to make sure producers fill out time sheets to avoid billing disputes and negotiating where necessary lower rates for lower margin jobs. Music and archive clearance, encoding, transcripts.
  • Point of contact for clients when Producers / Account Managers are unavailable.
  • Project Managing – knowledge of project status/timeline in production as per the pipeline. Having a good all round knowledge of each live project from concept to delivery.
  • Attend client meetings/briefings where required.
  • Understanding of client’s KPIs and processes.
  • Travel between different sites and locations required.

Client Engagement Director - London

What you will be doing

  • Responsible for leading the agency relationship with designated accounts to ensure that key contacts become advocates of TCEG within their organisation
  • Assume overall responsibility for the day-to-day management and delivery of client briefs through active team management and distribution of workload

Event Producer - London

A bit about the role

Working within a small, highly collaborative embedded production team, the Producer is responsible for taking full ownership of the planning, budgeting, management and delivery of every event assigned to them. Demonstrating strong client management through regular meetings and clear communication throughout the entire project lifecycle.

The Producer is an ambassador for The Moment and must continuously seek opportunities to promote the offerings and skills of the wider TCEG group in line with the account strategy. They must work to understand the brand, the business and their clients’ market/s to ensure absolute client satisfaction.

We are looking for an experienced Producer to bring and maintain the highest standard of quality in all areas of production, client management and event delivery alongside developing ongoing client relationships.

What will you be doing

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Building and maintaining positive client relationships in partnership with the client services team.
  • Taking ownership, instilling confidence and proactively leading the client throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Working closely with the client services team (and other experts from within the TCEG group) to:
  • Obtain a clear client brief
  • Create a proposal pitching innovative, engaging ideas and alternative solutions when appropriate
  • Identify and manage the project solution and scope
  • Producing all associated documentation including an SOW, cost estimate, agendas, contact reports, crew briefings, technical running order etc. (supported by client services and the production manager)
  • Carefully planning, communicating and executing all deliverables, commercials, milestones and deadlines across multiple projects
  • Financial management and reporting of each project (via proven commercial smarts) including time tracking and monitoring of spend and supplier negotiation and management
  • Taking responsibility for ensuring all resources are in place in order to deliver each project
  • Developing and coordinating technical solutions, environment design, platform identification and set up in conjunction with the client and with support from the studio manager / technical experts from within the team

  • Experience of technical event production, preferably web broadcasts in a corporate or entertainment environment and/or a background in film / television
  • Experience of equipment operation in live audience event environments

  • Experience of onsite film production, motion graphics, video editing and audio editing
  • Knowledge of video production and post-production
  • Experience working with video conferencing, audio conferencing, internet broadcast, video recording and camera operation and set design
