The brief

Vodafone’s first worldwide competition is empowering people to do something amazing for the #first time. Our challenge: capture the winner’s stories in a series of short films.

Our solution

We used BAFTA award winning directors like Ed Bazalgette, Director of the Poldark (2014) sensation, to create a series of films that sparked an intimate connection between viewers and the inspirational winners stories. These stories took us far from home… Mazen Hamza climbed his first mountain, despite his disability. Mohammed overcame his crippling fear of heights by jumping out of a plane. Sara Bonifazo used technology to help AS Rugby Milan improve their game. It was emotive storytelling worldwide.

This was our first partnership with AKQA and led to more work with them.
