Give Ladbrokes a strong voice amidst the commercial noise of the Cheltenham Festival action, and reach both the savvy punter and the casual sports bettor.

Our solution

Throughout the Festival, the most famous horse-racing event of the year, our aptly named ‘The Horse’s Mouth’, mixes insider information, exclusive tips and special offers with fun and entertainment to appeal to the audience.

Hosted by sports presenting superstar Chris Kamara and racing expert extraordinaire Nicola McGeady, the ten-minute show, supported by live outside broadcasts, was delivered to Facebook, YouTube, and in-store every day.

We created preview films and teasers to be used as Facebook Video ads, YouTube bumpers and TrueView In-Stream ads to drive traffic to the full episodes during Cheltenham.

The result

A below average cost-per-view rate, and above average view-through-rate.

And a mighty 32% search uplift for the brand during festival week for users exposed to the bumper impression.
