To build awareness of the brand's exclusive range of Country Living sofas

The brief

Hearst Magazines’ lifestyle publication, Country Living, approached us with a challenge – to build awareness of their range of Country Living sofas exclusively at DFS, and align DFS to the key brand values championed by Country Living – British made, high quality products with luxurious comfort and timeless design.

Our solution

We created a short form light entertainment style format, with series potential, showing how to design two rooms around DFS sofas, presented by none other than the Country Living editor-in-chief herself, Susy Smith and Country Living home design editor, Ben Kendrick. For inspiration we visited Country Living fairs with our experts, exploring and selecting British artesian accessories to give the rooms a distinct style and charm, while imparting bite size design knowledge along the way to encourage viewers.

The result

Two editorial led pieces of branded content that sit effortlessly on the County Living website as independently interesting video content, that positions this exclusive collaboration as the sofa collection for anyone who feels their heart is in the country.
