Activating Audi UK's sponsorship of Chelsea FC

The brief

Audi UK asked us to maximise their access to the Chelsea FC players and create an amazing social campaign.

Our solution

We gave Chelsea FC footballers, Remy, Willian, Ake and Hazard three challenges: Quick Fire, R8 Tennis and The Long Shot. An awkward moment captured on camera sparked the perfect 6’’ teaser. The views, shares and likes blew up on Facebook and Vine. After it was picked up by the media, we knew it was time to release the full video.

The result

In the first 10 days after release, the video achieved 7.6 million views across YouTube and Facebook, with 208,000 likes and 62,000 shares. This was all driven by football fans and car fanatics. After all, the dynamism, power and control of a top footballer complimented the handling of Audi’s famous quattro technology perfectly.
