A series of films to raise awareness of its innovative new contactless ticketing experience with Apple.

Wembley Stadium connected by EE is the first UK venue to provide contactless ticketing at a widespread scale, allowing fans a new way to seamlessly and securely enter live events with contactless tickets added to Apple Wallet on their iPhone and Apple Watch.

The Moment has created a series of online films featuring three famous faces from the world of football, road-testing the technology at Wembley Stadium. The films see World Cup winning legend Sir Geoff Hurst, Lioness Jordan Nobbs and U19 England and Fulham star Ryan Sessegnon put the technology through its paces, bringing to life how simple, secure and seamless the new experience is.

The films will appear online, in social channels, and on digital screens around Wembley, and will be used to promote the new service in the run-up to the England-Italy game on 27th March, where the technology will be made available to the public for the first time.

Mark Bullingham, FA Group Commercial & Marketing Director says:
“Wembley Stadium is proud to become the first UK venue to provide contactless ticketing on this scale. We are pleased to have worked alongside The Moment to produce this series of films to highlight our new and exciting innovation, which we see as an important step forward in enhancing fan experience. We look forward to providing our fans seamless and secure entry to the stadium via contactless tickets, and to delivering more unforgettable shared experiences under our iconic arch.”

Robbie Black, Client Services Director from The Moment, added:
“We were thrilled to collaborate with The FA and Apple to produce these films and to help with the launch of such an innovative and intuitive service. Wembley Stadium is such an iconic venue, and to have access to Jordan, Ryan and Sir Geoff was a real privilege.”
