Our solution

Connect the desert to the audience in an imaginative and mesmerising way.

Working with the museum curators, we created all of the filmic content for the centre’s audiovisual experiences and interactive kiosks.

18 films bring the desert experience to visitors, with a centre-piece ‘Visions of the Arabia Desert’, using a cast of Bedouin actors and displayed on a giant 22 meter wide purpose built cinema screen.

Another hero piece is the ‘immersive theatre’, a 180 degree wrap around experience that envelopes the audience in the Arabian desert, and takes them through day and night, from winter to summer.

The result

“The Sheikh Zayed Desert Learning Centre honours the legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan in preserving the rich environmental heritage, understanding the nature of the desert and the realisation of its value to preserve and protect it” says the Al Ain Zoo Director-General.
